DESIGN STUDIO 1
PROJECT 1: SELF-EXPRESSION THROUGH ARTWORK 'REPRESENTING ME'

The first project of this module is the ice-breaking design project which introduces basic understanding of the design process and the approaches in generating ideas, formulating conceptual narratives, developing design and translating it into a design.
We are to generate ideas from a chosen characteristics of ourselves and generate it into a design. For this project I have chosen the keyword 'HELPFUL' as my concept of the design.
PROJECT 2: A TEMPORARY SHELTER

We were required to create a shelter that had to accommodate the size of one. We were implored to study human anthropometry and ergonomics in context to the site, Port Dickson beach.
We are to specifically translate our design intentions thru designing ‘Small Shelter’, using materials that replicate the idea of ‘in-situ’ and ‘pre-fabricated’ construction, while exploring the architectural expression and possibilities of both. We are required to build and use the shelter to test its suitability.
PROJECT 3: SPACE FOR THE SELF

For the final project for this subject, we need to design a space that relates to our characteristic that is attaching between two cliff. The space is to fit a specific use as a dream space: for viewing, space for contemplating, space for self exploration, space for exercising, space for dreaming, space showcasing and so to speak a dream space for the user). As the user of the space, we can make our personality more interesting, an effective well thought of theme and written narrative is essential.
I designed a space for me to training to become a ninja. To become a ninja, I need to surpass many challenge just like my characteristic. I using the space I had design to merge to the activity, also call challenge, to the finalize the design space for my building.
